It’s been a surreal shooting display for Tyler Herro<\/a> of the Miami Heat<\/a> in the last two outings. Nights that not even all-time great three-point shooters like Stephen Curry<\/a>, Ray Allen<\/a>, or Reggie Miller<\/a> have ever achieved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herro makes NBA History by becoming the first player to record nine or more three points on back-to-back nights. On Thursday, he tied the franchise record for most three-pointers (10) in a single game against the Houston Rockets<\/a>, which featured a career-high 41 total points for him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday night was a similar performance with a victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>, as Herro knocked nine 3-pointers to his 35 points. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year<\/a> has been on a tear lately, but Herro is only focused on what he can contribute to pushing the Heat back into one of the contenders of the East. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I didn’t know it was the record until last night when I hit nine, and they said I was one short,” Herro said per ESPN<\/a>. “I didn’t have any intention of coming in to tie the record, but I was just trying to get 3s up. I think shooting more 3s is helping.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
